Each morning, you’ll be gently guided through a yoga practice — combining breath, movement and stillness.
Our teacher weaves together Vinyasa flow, calming breathwork (pranayama), guided meditation and deep relaxation — always attuned to the energy in the room.
Whether you’re new to yoga or returning to the mat after a long pause, you’ll be supported exactly where you are — with no pressure, no performance, just presence.

As part of your journey, you’ll be invited into a heart-opening cacao ceremony, followed by a gentle guided visualisation.
These practices offer more than relaxation — they create space for reflection, release, and inner reconnection.

Every morning from 9h to 13h, your child will be welcomed into a safe, playful space led by our warm and experienced childcare team.
We believe in creating real connection — which is why each carer looks after a maximum of three children, allowing space for presence, attention and joy.
For our tiniest guests under 18 months, we offer a 1:1 ratio, so their individual rhythms — feeding, cuddling, resting — are honoured with gentleness and care.

We serve vegetarian meals prepared with mostly organic and locally sourced, seasonal ingredients — thoughtfully crafted by our private chef to nourish and delight.
The menu includes child-friendly options, including for babies who are weaning, and we’re happy to accommodate any allergies or dietary needs.
Fresh juices, herbal teas, snacks & fruits available throughout the day.

Our retreat unfolds in a peaceful villa nestled in Lagos’s lush landscape, where time slows down and beauty surrounds you.
Tucked among gardens and open skies, it’s a space designed for rest and reconnection.

Zavial Master Suite

The master suite with sea view is our biggest room. It was named after the owner's favourite South Coast beach, fresh and airy using the classic Portuguese colours of white and blue. This room enjoys a Balinese style four poster bed, separate lounge area and spacious bathroom with spa bath.

Double or twin room with sea view. This room takes inspiration from the family’s British roots. It's a light and airy room facing South East, has windows on three sides of the bedrooms to welcome in that early morning sun and looks out over the Italian garden, yoga studio and Lagos bay.

Double or triple room with sea view. This room takes the name of the owners favourite West coast beach. The earthy tones reflect the abundant nature outside and the room enjoys a large terrace above the ponds looking out South West towards the bay of Praia da Luz which is the perfect location for that end of day!

Double or twin room with sea view. This serene, sun-drenched room offers a a private balcony overlooking the sea. The bed can be set up as a queen or twin, depending on your needs. Soft linens, natural light, and a gentle breeze create the perfect setting to rest deeply.

Thoughtfully designed and cosy at 27sqm, this charming room is located on the north side of the house and features a small private terrace with table and chairs — perfect for enjoying the last of the evening sun. While the room does not include a bath, it offers a spacious walk-in shower for added comfort and convenience.

The master bedroom of the original house and a firm favourite with many of our regulars, this ground-floor sea-view room is the most traditional in terms of décor taking inspiration from rich Algarvean gold and blue hues. With an exquisite original azulejos bathroom, where every tile was painted individually by hand – even the ceramic basin.

Casa Bonita Cottage

Tucked at the bottom of the hill, it's our spacious two-bedroom cottage - ideal for mothers travelling with more than one child, or for those wishing to bring their own mother along for the journey.
The cottage features a large bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, and a smaller bedroom with a single bed and a separate bathroom. There’s also a cosy living space and a small kitchen.

Not at all. All ages are welcome. For little ones under 18 months, we offer one-to-one childcare to make sure their unique needs, especially around sleep and food, are fully respected.

Yes, absolutely. Just let us know in advance and our lovely kitchen team will make sure every meal is safe and suitable for you and your child.

The villa is very close to the airport, around 20 minutes by car. The easiest way to get here is by taxi (you’ll find official ones right outside the terminal), or you can rent a car if you’d like more flexibility and want to explore the area a bit.

Yes, no need to pack those. The villa has towels and bed linen ready for you.

No need. We’ve got plenty of toys and activities available at the villa, both during childcare hours and outside of them.

Yes, you can add a travel cot during the booking process for a small additional fee.

Yes, many of our mums bring two little ones. Just let us know their ages when booking so we can plan everything with care.

Your accommodation, daily yoga classes, all meals, and childcare during the scheduled hours. Some extras like massages or transfers can be booked separately.

No problem at all. Children connect beautifully through play. Plus, our team speaks several languages including Portuguese, Spanish and German, so we do our best to make everyone feel at home.
